About Lord of Chaos

Lord of Chaos was written by Robert Jordan and is the sixth novel in his thrilling fantasy series, The Wheel of Time. It is a powerful work of fantasy that takes the series in new and surprising directions.

Rand accepts a dangerous ally and calls for a terrifying amnesty. The rebels in Salidar appoint an Amyrlin Seat of their own, and the White Tower sets a trap. These opposing factions of Aes Sedai seek to bend the Dragon’s ear but test his patience to breaking point.

Unnatural heat parches the land, but Elayne and Nynaeve discover a ter’angreal that may avert the Dark One’s hold on the weather. And the Forsaken have been told… let the Lord of Chaos rule!

Lord of Chaos was published in 1994 and may become your new favorite book in the series.

El Señor Del Caos, the Spanish edition of Lord of Chaos, uses this rousing book spiel, translated for your enjoyment:

“Rand strives to unite the nations to fight the Dark One while being forced to navigate the traps that the Forsaken set for the unsuspecting human race. But he must also face the Children of the Light, whose Captain-General intends to discredit him in order to lead the battle against the Shadow and its hordes himself.

For their part, the Aes Sedai, both those who remain faithful to the White Tower and the rebels, seek out Rand to offer their support, although he suspects their true intention is to use him for their own purposes.”
