About The Shadow Rising

The Shadow Rising was written by Robert Jordan and is the fourth novel in his spellbinding fantasy series, The Wheel of Time. It is regarded as the best book in the series and was first published in 1992.

The story tells how Rand and Mat enter the sacred city of Rhuidean, discovering distant memories and a devastating secret. Perrin returns home to protect the Two Rivers. He finds Trollocs, Whitecloaks, and a new adversary threatening all he holds dear. Nynaeve and Elayne hunt down the Black Ajah in Tanchico, and Min Farshaw witnesses devastation in the White Tower.

Season 3 of the TV series will adapt this novel, and there is rampant excitement to see events from this book come alive on screen.

Reading Age
